“It’s a shame Liam (Williams) took the knock, but he has been supporting me this week”, said the Bristol Rugby outside half.

At the moment, it’s hard to say whether there have been more injuries during this World Cup, as we’d have to wait until it had finished to find out.

Fiji head coach John McKee said: ” For us, we have to concentrate on what we need to do in the game, our game-plan and our execution.

“This is everything to me and the other players”. We do not want to repeat, repeat that.

“I’m not nervous, but it reminds me of a similar feeling after the second Test for the Lions against Australia when we had a big opportunity to win the series that was missed”.

England captain Chris Robshaw opted not to attempt a late penalty that could have secured a draw against Wales.

“I don’t know whether four- or five-day turnarounds in a World Cup are too short”.

“I’ve not seen Will around training, he’s not been around while I have been in so I’m not sure how much inside knowledge he has”, Burgess said. But, even though the players are determined, the motivation will not come as naturally and the adrenaline will not flow as freely as it had done against England.

Harry Kane was one of just 61 players eligible for England to start in the Premier League last weekend
