In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said that Rotaru’s character will appear in a series of flashbacks. Perhaps the death of a major character could happen within the show. Not only will Damien seek to destroy Star City and go after Oliver (Stephen Amell), but he is not afraid of being in the public eye.
While it was already known that Charlotte Ross would be returning as Felicity’s mom, Donna Smoak, in Arrow’s fourth season, TVLine broke the news earlier today that Ross will be appearing in not just one but three episodes.
Donna Smoak’s last appearance included her telling Felicity she should be with Oliver. Oliver is genuinely in love and really happy with his life.
Can Oliver and the other members of Team Arrow co-exist after Oliver abandoned them to be with Felicity?
Arrow also gets a new villain, in the form of Damian Darhk (Neal McDonough), once an adversary of the late Ra’s Al Ghul and now a new challenge for Team Green Arrow to face.
The new teaser trailer shows Felicity with the machine, Diggle (David Ramsey) in his new high-tech motorcycle-like helmet, and quick shots of Laurel (Katie Cassidy) as Black Canary and Thea (Willa Holland) as Speedy. Ray was presumed dead during the season 3 finale after he was fixing the A.T.O.M. suit which resulted in a explosion to Palmer Tech building.
