Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says that his squad should be more awake after their horrid 4-1 loss to Celta Vigo this week.
“There is always room for improvement and penalties are certainly an area where we will have to do better”.
Just as Barca really upped the tempo it all came crumbling down, Nolito releasing Aspas after Celta cleared a corner and the local favourite producing another cool finish.
After winning their first four Liga outings of 2015-16, defeat brought Barca back down to earth with a bump, the reigning champions consistently punished for playing a high line as Celta proved devastating on the counter-attack with Barca chasing the game. Aspas lobbed over Ter Stegen to find the back of the net.
Athletic Bilbao welcomed Real Madrid to the San Mames Stadium, with the visitors completing a 2-1 victory thanks to a brace from Karim Benzema.
Nolito and Iago Aspas scored within the space of five minutes of each other to give Celta Vigo a 2-0 lead over Barcelona after just half an hour.
“It will be a very hard game against Barcelona, obviously, but we think we can play up to their level and get the victory”, he said.
That big win over Sevilla was at home, with Roque Mesa scoring in the 30th minute, while Antolin Alcaraz put the finishing touches with a goal in the 76th minute to please their home crowd.
The champions had another opportunity shortly afterwards when Messi combined with Neymar but the Brazilian could only shoot straight at Sergio from a decent opening.
Fernando Tissone’s 71st-minute own-goal was enough to secure all three points for the Yellow Submarine, who won their fourth league game in a row. “We have to improve both as a team and also as individuals”, he commented, while defending goalkeeper, Ter Stegen, who conceded four goals for the second time this season.
Javi Guerra then made it 2-0 three minutes into the second half and although Jony replied for Sporting within a minute, the away side could not salvage a point from there.

Villarreal has yet to lose a match and also has 13 points to sit alongside Madrid and Celta, but it will have a tough match when it hosts Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
