Referee Takes Gun Onto Soccer Field After Spat With Players In Brazil
In a lower-league match in Brazil at the weekend, referee Gabriel Murta reportedly left the field after abuse from players and returned with a gun.

Brazilian news outlet G1 Minas Gerias reported Murta had been slapped and kicked by a player for declining to give a red-card penalty to a player on the opposing team before retrieving his handgun from a locker room.
Amateur side Brumadinho was playing against Amantes da Bola – which literally translates as ‘Lovers Of The Ball’.
Giuliano Bozzano, who holds positions with both the Minas Gerais Football Federation and the National Association of Football Referees, says that Murta will attend a meeting along with a psychologist today.
