Conference US to be a part of Arizona Bowl
The Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission (ASEC) announced today that the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl is a go for 2015. The game is now scheduled for 5:30 pm MT on December 29 in Tucson, AZ at Arizona Stadium, home of the University of Arizona Wildcats. Campus Insiders has partnered with the bowl to stream the game live. Sanctioned by the NCAA in March, the bowl game is the third in Arizona and will feature teams from among the Mountain West Conference, Conference US or Sun Belt Conferences.

A new college football bowl game will be hosted in Tucson later this year, it was announced Thursday.
The Mountain West now has seven bowl tie-ins, guaranteeing bowl bids for six member teams – providing it has six teams that are bowl eligible.
The NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl will be the first post-season bowl game to have a “digitally-focused broadcast strategy”. Tucson was the site of the Copper Bowl from 1989-1996, and the Insight.com Bowl from 1997-99.
With the Arizona Bowl officially starting this season, there will be a record 41 bowls (two more than last year), which includes the College Football Playoff title game.
The game is expected to inject about $25 million into the city.

The agreement gives the Sun Belt a seventh bowl tie-in (four primary, three secondary) and both Conference United States of America and the Mountain West an eighth bowl tie-in. A bowl in Little Rock, Arkansas was also in the planning stages.
