Hear Will Smith’s First New Song In A Decade

Will Smith teamed with Colombian electronic music group Bomba Estéreo for a remix of the band’s “Fiesta”. He’s been busy starring in hit movies and raising his wiener kids and possibly rebooting The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but last night, the world’s jiggy-level rose tenfold, because the first new Will Smith song in a decade was released. The track has exclusively been live to tell the tale YouTube for a matter of hours still already it is started to rack up hundreds of views.

Smith met with Bomba Estereo while vacationing in Colombia and after hearing their popular tune “Fiesta” everywhere in the South American country, the 47-year-old tracked down their manager.

The collaboration marks Smith’s first return to music since his 2005 album, Lost and Found.

A music video for the remix was recently filmed in Los Angeles, which should be premiering soon.

Bomba Estereo also includes singer Liliana Saumet, drummer Andres Zea and multi-instrumentalist Julian Salazar. Formed in 2005, they have performed at major music festivals, including Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza.

The 16th annual Latin Grammys will take place on November 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
