You’ll find them at Samsung’s online store, Amazon, Best Buy, and Macys.

To recap, the Gear S2 is Samsung’s first circular smartwatch, and its first to work on other Android devices. The Gear S2 does run on Tizen and not Android Wear. The company has announced now that the latest round-faced smart watch will be retailed at a price of $299 and the classic version of the same watch will cost $349.

Thus far, many industry analysts as well as reviewers deemed the new wearable a huge jump from the earlier attempts at smartwatches by Samsung.

For interested techies, the Samsung Gear S2 will be available for purchase this Friday on Samsung, com.

Its bezel, which refers to the rim, rotates to both the left and right, allowing the user to navigate the operating system and mobile content. None of these though have been able to take on the Apple Smartwatch, for the simple reason, that in terms of intuitiveness and design, simple has been the mantra that has made Apple the clear victor in the smartwatch market. It sports a round display and can be controlled using a rotating wheel around its watch face.
