Take a look at the Dragon Quest Heroes “King Doric’s Royal Overview” trailer in the video above. Once obtained by defeating waves of opposing monsters, these medallions can be used to summon a specific type of monster to fight alongside the twelve different Dragon Quest heroes of old. It’s an action-RPG set on an absolute massive scale. According to Gematsu, players can form a part of four in the game’s various missions. Players will also be able to buy and create equipment and accessories for their character while powering up their unique abilities. They aren’t the main focus though as this trailer shows how you can gain advantages in battle.
Despite being developed by Omega Force and boasting a similar combat system, the game is not a “Dynasty Warriors” clone, according to Forbes.
Dragon Quest Builders is being developed for PlayStation 3, PS4 and PS Vita.
The first details on Dragon Quest Builders’ item creation and world-building mechanics were revealed by Square Enix, giving fans something other than the game’s setting (Alefgard) to discuss while waiting for the Dragon Quest Builders release date.

The game will be available for the PlayStation 4 in multiple editions, including a regular version of the game and a collector’s edition.
