Indrani’s husband Peter Mukerjea has also been interrogated in connection with the murder. “She is serious and we will take 24 hours to assess and then see how she responses to the treatment”, Dr Lahane said.
Mikhail Bora, Indrani’s son and brother of Sheena Bora whom she is accused of murdering, said Durga’s last rites were performed tonight. “It will be take at least 24 hours”, Dr Lahane said. Meanwhile, prison department sources said she was prescribed medicines by the doctor and started taking them from September 11. On Friday Indrani who is in judicial custody was rushed to the state run JJ hospital after she collapsed in custody.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Dispur) Suprotive Lal Barua said 83-year Bora died in her residence. Sanjeev Khanna, Indrani’s ex-husband, and driver Shyam Rai are also named accused in the case.
Indrani has been reportedly on anti-epilepsy pills since 11 September.
The CBI filed the case under various sections of Indian Penal Code including criminal conspiracy, murder, abduction, destruction of evidence, causing hurt by giving poison and Arms Act.

Sheena was allegedly abducted by the three accused and killed inside a vehicle after which her body was burnt and dumped into the jungles of adjoining Raigad district, police have said.
