Why Hillary Clinton Should Fear Bernie Sanders’ Fundrasing in 2 Charts
While the O’Malley proposal does not mention Clinton by name, its mentioning of the “internet exemption” is a not-so-subtle swipe at her campaign, given that is the loophole being used to coordinate with the pro-Clinton super-PAC Correct the Record.

The socialist senator from Vermont hauled in million in donations in the third quarter. His rapid fund-raising clip is widely seen as a victory for the Sanders campaign, which is trying to be taken seriously as more than a gadfly critique of the inevitable Clinton candidacy.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is drawing huge amounts of small-dollar donations online, illustrating that his campaign is focused on face-to-face meetings with potential voters and not on courting big-time contributors, the Washington Post noted.
Walsh praised Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton’s commitment to combating the heroin epidemic during her campaign stop in the Bay State yesterday – but wouldn’t say whether he’ll endorse the former secretary of state in her run for the White House.
Sharpton interjected to remind Clinton that Trump had recently called her “shrill.”
Walsh said he was struck when he caught Clinton on TV about two months ago talking about drug abuse, alcoholism and mental health issues on the campaign trail. The Clinton campaign’s fundraising has been built on aggressive solicitation of donors to give the maximum $2,700 contribution to the campaign. But 22 percent of Democratic voters said that her handling of the Benghazi situation bothered them and 44 percent said that it will hurt her in the general election.
Clinton appeared on “Saturday Night Live” during the 2008 presidential campaign when she was facing off against Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination.
“You know, the pundits all said that we would never be able to mount a national campaign for financial reasons”, Carson said to the Associated Press, “but here we are approaching 600,000 donations”.
Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver made the case to the New York Times on Wednesday that the strength of Sanders’ fundraising operation means he’s well-positioned to compete across the country.
The campaign now has 49 paid staffers in Iowa, 43 in New Hampshire and 140 paid staffers total, sizable staffing that it didn’t have last quarter.

“Sanders was initially dismissed by political insiders as a fringe candidate running only to push Hillary Rodham Clinton to the left“. He’s now reached that marker months ahead of schedule.
