Woman says – if airlines crew would have allowed her to make a call, she could have saved her suicidal husband
A woman who got a message from her husband just moment before taking off her flight that he was going to kill himself.

But before she could do anything for him, the flight attended arrived and asked to switch the phone off.
She requested and explained the condition, but even then they denied.
She even requested after the flight took off, to give her husband an emergency call, but the team again denied her request.
Once the flight landed, she managed to contact the local police, who rushed at her place, but it was too late as her husband had already died.
A spokesman from the airlines company said later “Our hearts go out to the Evers family during this difficult time. Our flight attendants are trained to notify the Captain if there is an emergency that poses a hazard to the aircraft or to the passengers on-board. In this situation, the pilots were not notified”.
