The Portland Trail Blazers recently bought out the contract of veteran Mike Miller, and it was reported then that the Denver Nuggets were the front-runner for Miller’s services.
Miller played in 52 games with Cleveland last season, signing with the team after LeBron James returned.
Drafted fifth overall by the Magic in 2000, he has averaged 11.3 points a game over his career. The Nuggets also have a considerable amount of wing depth with Gary Harris, Randy Foye, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Will Barton.
Miller is also a former victor of the Sixth Man of the Year award, having won it back in the 2005-2006 season.
