It also looks like BJ now has a digital diary, as she is seen in the photo clinging to an iPad! Production company Working Title Films posted the image to its Facebook page with the caption, “Bridget is back!” The actress, 46, has reworked again back to her old self as she reveals a slimmed down & youthful complexion, hardly showing to have aged “cause the last installment”.
Details from the highly anticipated film have been sparse, but the plot definitely isn’t following writer Helen Fielding’s latest novel from the series, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, which – SPOILER ALERT!!!!
It’s been 14 years since Renee Zellweger first charmed her way into the hearts of fans as the endearingly hapless Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones’s Diary. The book follows Bridget as she has a couple of kids, while Mark Darcy has passed away.

Hugh Grant, who played Jones’ other suitor Daniel Cleaver in the first two films, was originally set to reprise his role but he eventually left the project. “The book’s excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different – well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago”.
