Once again, David Cassidy has found himself on the wrong side of the law.
Police documents claim officers caught up with the former child star at a local hospital, where he told cops that he had exchanged information with the driver and was at the hospital for an unrelated check up. Despite the fact that his tire was blown out, Cassidy, according to the report, left the scene.
David is now being charged with leaving the scene of an accident, neglecting to give his information, improper lane change, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with an expired registration, according to the Daily Mail, who obtained the police report. Earlier this week, The Broward County State Attorney’s office filed a misdemeanor of the second degree charge against Cassidy for leaving the scene of an accident. A hearing has been scheduled for October 27.
In March 2014, he was sentenced to 90 days’ live-in rehab, a nine-month alcohol-education course, fines and 60 months’ probation after being arrested on suspicion of DUI in January of that year near Los Angeles global Airport.

Last year, police in California pulled him over after he made an illegal right turn at a red light. The 7,000-square-foot home went to the highest of four bidders, going under contract at .8 million before eventually selling for a court-approved price of more than $2 million. He has also recently gone through a divorce and a personal bankruptcy.
