It has been reported that the 33 year old burglar, Nicholas Broadley, was ordered to wear the GPS tag, and using that police caught him with stolen bikes.
Broadley, who has 98 previous convictions including four for burglary, told police the system was not working and he was at his mum’s house, but when police asked his mum she denied his story.
Police followed then his GPS trail, and found two of the three stolen bikes.
Broadly was jailed for four years after the hearing.
