Shonda Rhimes Flaunts 117-Pound Weight Loss -See the Before and After Pics!

The queen of primetime TV is not letting her health milestone pass unnoticed – she has recently spoken to Oprah about her weight loss and her “yes” habit. Shonda has struggled with her weight for many years, but she said now is the time to get healthy for her little kids. Rhimes has two adopted daughters and had another one via gestational surrogate.

“Grey’s Anatomy” producer Shonda Rhimes credited diet and exercise for her shocking 117-pound weight loss.

Shonda donned a written agreement flowered set amount that in fact underscored her slimmed down number, and also her face expression kinda looked more stated.

Rhimes showed off her new figure at the ABC TGIT Celebrations in Los Angeles the other day, and Extra caught up with her on the red carpet to get all the details.

Still, Rhimes says she hates both dieting and exercise.

‘Once I decided it wasn’t gonna be fun, like, I lowered my expectations.

Despite having been obese for much of her adult life, the award-winning creator of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal got serious about weight loss following a poignant a-ha moment. The interview is scheduled to air on OWN’s Super Soul Sunday on November. 5.
