Chris Steed, a favourite on Channel 4’s Gogglebox, has got engaged… but not to his co-star Stephen.
Sharing a closeup image of his stunning diamond engagement ring on Twitter, Chris wrote happily: “It’s official…”
Chris, one half of the hilarious Brighton on-screen duo, flashed his impressive bling on social media revealing that boyfriend Tony Butland had popped the BIG question at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
On Tuesday he shared a photo of the couple toasting the occasion in the French capital, writing alongside the romantic snap: ‘@Tony_Butland asked me to marry him at the top of the Eiffel Tower, so I said yes!’
In an interview with WhatsonTV, Chris and Steve previously admitted Gogglebox played a huge part in their break up – despite continuing to star in the show.
Stephen replied:”They can’t get rid of me, lol”.
But fear not, the Gogglebox ex’s, and still good friends won’t be leaving the sofa anytime soon!
This is not the first Gogglebox engagement this week with Eve Woerdenweber, who dumped “silent Jay” earlier this year, announcing her engagement to her new man Josh Smith, who proposed in Venice.
Well, you kind of would considering you were in the city of love, wouldn’t you?
