A teenager is literally eating his jail, where he has been kept for burglary charge.

It has been reported that the suspect, Lamont Cathey, in his eighteen, has yet been taken almost 24 times to hospital since 15 months, for his bizarre behavior of eating the prison, after he was arrested in some burglary case.
A prison official explained that so far he have eaten parts of his bed, a prison camera and medical equipment.
The director of cook county jail, Cara Smith, said “This case to me is a perfect example of the failure of the criminal justice system … It’s been a crushingly sad and very frustrating case”.
