Bulls hope Rose can return for opener

Of course, none of these postseasons really mattered, in a way, because Derrick Rose was out for all but one game of them. Could be that one of his luxury residences is built on a sacred burial ground and the payback stinks.

Derrick Rose has responded to the gang rape lawsuit filed against him last August and he insists that he’s innocent.

Rose underwent surgery to fix the left orbital fracture yesterday.

Rose also claims Jane Doe can’t prove her injuries, because she “went to work the next day at her normal time in the morning and worked a full day”.

Derrick Rose’s procedure went as expected today. The one big change they made was on the sideline, with Hoiberg replacing the defensive-minded Tom Thibodeau.

According to a report by the website bleacherreport.com, teammate and power forward Taj Gibson shared his perspective on how Rose sustained the injury. Rose is missing the early classes now, with the Bulls hoping that doesn’t mess up their whole semester. Keeping Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah healthy and fresh by year’s end is the bigger concern here.

“At this time it is estimated he will be able to resume basketball activities in two weeks”, a team statement said. You know, it’s getting through this. “We dont know how much hell be able to do even while hes in recovery mode, but he still will be here, learning, ” Hoiberg said. He’s still going to be at practice.

Rose also raised a few eyebrows Monday (last Tuesday in Manila) when he talked about becoming a free agent, even though he has two years left on his contract.

Rose has been saddled with injuries recently, mostly pertaining to his knees.

Hoiberg shrugged off the suggestion of a woe-is-me attitude, though certainly this is an old issue bleeding into a new era. “So well go as expected as far as putting our stuff in. We’re two blacks - African-African guys that’s on the team - and we’re just trying to find a way to get going.

After playing 46 of the first 57 games of the 2014-15 season, Rose had two uncharacteristically bad performances and fans wondered if their injury-plagued point guard could possibly be suffering another ailment. Since the 2011-12 National Basketball Association season, D-Rose has only appeared in a total of 100 games out of a possible 328. The only downside is that Rose will miss all of training camp and won’t be able to properly digest Hoiberg’s new offensive schemes that he put in place for the Bulls this season.
