Search has been given a revamp that aims to speed it up considerably whilst at the same time bringing more accurate and complete results at the end of it all.
Microsoft has released the latest Office 365 that promises to make collaboration easier with a host of new apps. “The new Office provides built-in intelligence to help you work faster and smarter”, Kunle Awosika, Microsoft Kenya Country Manager said. At the moment, email is the most essential tool in business communication and is a tool that most workers agree that it is their main means of collaboration. However, Microsoft’s MSDN subscribers were able to get this version last month. It has discovered that collaborating is the way of the new workplace. The new Exchange Server 2016 enhances and builds on features already available in Exchange 2013, like data loss prevention, automatic recovery from storage failures, and a Web-based Exchange administration center. The new feature in Outlook 2016 could offer companies a way to keep the baby while throwing out the bathwater. A very handy feature to have when group-editing documents with such powerful desktop clients such as Word and PowerPoint.
This week, Microsoft will begin rolling out a thumbs-up icon into the reading pane of Outlook, letting you “like” an email.
An annual subscription to the Office 365 Personal plan, which includes upgrades to Office 2016 applications for a single PC, tablet, and a smartphone, is available at NT$2,190 ($66) in Taiwan, a sharp drop compared with the buyout price of NT$4,790 ($144) for the Office 2016 Home retail version, which can only be installed on one PC.
No longer do you need to know where a feature lives in the expansive ribbon. Outlook 2016 clients for Windows and Mac will also be updated at the same time.
A second feature, called Mentions, takes the at-sign concept and embeds it into your emails. And, in reverse, you’ll be notified when someone “Likes” your emails.
Microsoft is promising coauthoring benefits for attached documents sent in messages, with a side-by-side editing capability available within Outlook. You can also tell Clutter never to put that type of content in again – giving you full control. Now, your list travel with you across your devices using OneDrive for Business. The function works like the Twitter feature. Now Office has come up with a solution. It’s a way of saying “gold star for you, fellow employee”.

These new features should help to make the package run efficiently on an Apple operating system, allowing fresh new possibilities for users that could lead to better performance and commercial success.
