But as pathetic as the Yankees were the past three nights in the Bronx, and with Tanaka not at his best, there may only be one more game left and that could be Tuesday night again in the Bronx. Interim manager Torey Lovullo stated after the game that the team knew the Yankees could celebrate a playoff berth tonight with a win, so that was part of their motivation to prevent that from occurring. 500 with four games left to play.
