Paul Merson has hailed Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris calling him “seriously top draw” as he names his best XI from Spurs and Arsenal’s squads, per Sky Sports.

Patrick Bamford, who was brilliant in the Championship last season, could be one answer to this potential issue and his support for Wickham will be crucial throughout the campaign.

Summer signing Son Heung-Min announced himself with a Europa League double on his home debut against Qarabag on Thursday. White Hart Lane is a tough ground to go to and get a result but I dont think it will hold any fears for a very confident Crystal Palace who were desperately unlucky to lose to a last minute Manchester City goal last weekend.

After his team made a slow start to the season, Son’s dynamic displays have been a much-needed tonic for Tottenham, helping them climb to mid-table in the Premier League with two successive wins.

“We have a lot of games ahead and we need to be careful with the players”, he said.

Son has had no trouble adapting to the unique demands of English football and said he is relishing the league’s combination of pace and power as it suits his whole-hearted game.

“Yohann Cabaye hit the post in the first half, so we were unlucky there, and then my free-kick was close too”. He used it to deadly effect, his shot squirming under McCarthy to win his new team all three points.

And, having been substituted in the 79th minute, Son returned to the field after the final whistle to thank each of his teammates as the new fan favorite was cheered by the home crowd.

Pochettino said: “He is a player you can see is a very friendly boy and he has settled in well”. I’m getting a lot of help from my teammates and coaches and that’s why I want to do even better. Crystal Palace are also one of the paciest counter attacking sides and they will fancy their chances against a somewhat porous Tottenham defence.

Tottenham don’t seem to be showing us what they are hoping to do for the rest of this season, failing to score goals and seeming uncomfortable in their defensive structure.
