Mass shooting at Oregon collage leaves 13 dead
US President Barack Obama has made another impassioned plea for more gun regulation in the U.S. after 10 people were killed in a mass shooting at a college in Oregon.

The gunman was named as 26-year-old Chris Harper-Mercer and reportedly born in England before moving to the United States whose social media MySpace profile featured content supporting the IRA, reported The Irish Times.
He died in an exchange of fire with police in the city of Roseburg.
“So we know there are ways to prevent it”.
The tracker was created by the moderators of the pro-gun control subreddit Guns Are Cool.
The shootings are captured in this calendar, drawn from the Mass Shooting Tracker.
We’ve gone no more than eight days without one of these incidents this year.
The week from July 12 to 18 saw the most mass shootings – a total of 18, five of which happened on July 15.
“We are going to have to change our laws”.
Of the mass shootings, 84 incidents can be categorized as spree murders, including the shooting Thursday at Umpqua Community College in Oregon that left at least 13 people dead and more injured.
“But we are the only advanced country on Earth that sees these mass shootings every few months”. Counting this latest tragedy in Oregon, the total of deaths by mass shooting is 380 so far this year, with well over one thousand injured. “My response here at this podium ends up being routine, the conversation in the aftermath of it. We’ve become numb to this”, he said in his speech at the White House.

“Someone will comment and say, ‘Obama politicized this issue, ‘” said Obama in his 15th statement on mass shootings since taking office.
