Are the Mets better off starting the playoffs at Dodger Stadium?

With the recently crowned 2015 National League East champion New York Mets scheduled to begin their National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, October 9, home field is still up for grabs.

The MTA responded by saying “Don’t worry, @MetroLosAngeles – we sweep our subway just like the @Mets will Sweep the @Dodgers”.

“Regardless, you’re going to play somewhere no matter where it happens to be, whether it be here or on the road”. I know it’s in the shadows.

“It stinks, you want to go ahead and control your own destiny a little bit better than what we’ve done”, Kelly Johnson said.

“It’s time to play – that’s where we are right now”, Johnson said. “It would be nice to get home field for our fans and to use that advantage for us”. If it means you’ve got to see Kershaw and [Zack] Greinke in the shadows; they’ve probably got to see a couple of guys that throw pretty good in the shadows. “We’ve got a lot of goals left”.

As for entering the final day of the season on a five-game losing streak and with his team having mustered one run in its last 35 innings, Collins said he’s “not really” concerned.

Long Island Congressman Steve Israel is confident that the Mets will handle the Dodgers in their upcoming playoff series. As proof, Granderson cited his experience playing in the 2006 playoffs with the Detroit Tigers.
