Honey Boo Boo is back…and with a song

Honey Boo Boo’s song is called “Movin’ Up“, which documents her family’s Jeffersons-like ascension from garden variety Georgia rednecks to kind of famous Georgia rednecks.

While “Honey Boo Boo” looked pretty happy being surrounded by her family members in her music video, “Uncle Poodle” Lee Thompson reacted otherwise.

The show was later cancelled after it was discovered that Mama June had been secretly dating a convicted child molester who served 10 years for forcing oral sex on an 8-year-old. Instead, she just dances everything off. It’s the sort of lesson Taylor Swift will be proud to hear she’s taking to heart.

Viral video artist Adam Barta worked with Honey Boo Boo.

She then gives listeners a quick history of her life as Honey Boo Boo. Her sister, Lauryn Shannon, also sings on the track. The lyrics are at times indistinguishable, and Honey Boo Boo has her forehead against the microphone as she raps into it.

If Honey Boo Boo’s song becomes a hit I will don a hillbilly straw hat, put on a few overalls, and jump off a cliff.

On Twitter, Mama June announced that the single was available on iTunes. Also, Sugar Bear’s dancing cameo might just be the best thing you’ve seen all week.
