Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet earlier said the death toll had reached 13, including people trapped in a parking lot, a campsite and a retirement home. Another three people drowned when their auto got stuck in a tunnel, according to the news agency. The deluge accompanied by thunderstorms broke the banks of the Brague river in the city of Antibes.
