Really?! Ex-Liverpool keeper rates Romero bette
Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James earned the nickname of Calamity James for his blunders during his playing days and he’s dropped another clanger today after claiming Manchester United’s Sergio Romero is better than David De Gea.

Despite De Gea’s quality, James has stated that he feels that the Argentina global is a better option for the club between the sticks. “Romero starts the season with three clean sheets”.
De Gea was continuously linked with a move to Real Madrid over the course of the summer, but the move broke down at the final stage due to a complication with paperwork.
De Gea himself has been in superb form for Manchester United over the last few campaigns and has been the club’s Player of the Year for two seasons running.
Romero’s last action in goal was to let two goals in against Swansea and even before that United played a struggling Newcastle, Aston Villa and Tottenham; three sides United would’ve expected to have kept a clean sheet against.
Following the unfortunate fallout with manager Louis Van Gaal, who relegated him to the bench at the beginning of the season, David De Gea come back to take his place as the Red Devils main goalie.
“I think having him in goal will really help Arsenal a lot; he has so many games under his belt and he is just a top goalkeeper”.
Although the 24-year-old has only kept one clean sheet since his return he has made 10 saves in just three league games which is better than the five that Romero made in his first four games following his arrival on a free transfer during the summer.

Is there any case for Romero being picked over De Gea?
