Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks: Betting odds, point spread and tv streaming
So far this season the Seattle Seahawks’ offense has been less like a finely-tuned Harley Davidson and more like a fully-loaded U-Haul.

“Ultimately, everyone’s game elevated”, Richard said. “It will be electric in the stadium”.
“We had offers made and all that on the table”, Carroll recalled.
Our statistic-heavy preview looks at the matchup between the Lions and the Seahawks.
Before Sunday, beefing up the pass protection may have seemed like a no-brainer for a team that’s unsure of Marshawn Lynch’s playability in their upcoming home game against the 0-3 Detroit Lions.
This is one of those games that could be a turning point in our season, Detroit linebacker James Ihedigbo said. His intersecting pattern with Tyler Lockett left an already overmatched safety trailing behind.
Tate was notable in Seattle for several on-field moments – including his controversial touchdown catch in the infamous “Fail Mary” game versus the Green Bay Packers in 2012 – as well as off-the-field incidents, like when he was caught trespassing at a Bellevue Top Pot Doughnuts at 3 a.m. shortly after he joined the Seahawks in 2010. He played good, tough football all day long. Bell, who hasn’t practiced this week due to an ankle injury, has carried the ball 20 times for 22 yards. Either way, Wilson needs to get outside the pocket early and create space to prevent the Lions’ defensive line from dictating the tempo.
Something is amiss with the Lions’ offense.
Tate topped 1,000 yards in receiving previous year for the first time in his career while helping the Lions reach the playoffs with an 11-5 record. Running back Theo Riddick arguably has been the Lions’ best receiver, though he’s relegated primarily to 2-minute situations. Throw in a Monday Night Football crowd and you have a real disadvantage on your hands as an away team. His hamstring injury may give rookie Thomas Rawls his second consecutive start. Fred Jackson also could see time in the backfield. That’s good news for Russell Wilson, who did a great job managing last week’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Most teams have an idea of what their opponents are running. As the Lions consistently drop in to coverage Wilson will use his mobility to pick up a further 100 yards on the ground.
Detroit plays the Seahawks and Cardinals in the next two weeks, so they need to figure out the issue ASAP if they want to get out alive against those two defenses.
The Lions rank 27th in pass defense in part because they’ve been inconsistent with their rush. Most of his receptions were Jimmy Graham, who was going through his doubts after a disappointing performance in the week prior to this game.
The Lions struggled mightily on special teams last week. There is no point in holding them back anymore. Still, Matt Prater and Sam Martin are reliable in the kicking game, and return men Abdullah and TJ Jones are big-play threats.
Any special motivation when playing the old team? They only added two more against the woeful Bears.
How lucky is Seattle to have Steven Hauschka?
On Tuesday, Tate said while Roby didn’t tell him that – he has heard from others that they know what plays offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi is calling. Prediction: Seahawks 30, Lions 20.
