Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is preparing for the launch of the new Lumia brand family members any time soon. We’ll bring you all the news as it happens.

Most of these concerns have arisen in response to the telemetry feature enabled by default in Windows 10, which collects information ranging from security settings to the frequency and manner in which applications are used.

A few rumours say that the Microsoft Lumia 550 will come with a 5-inch 1280 x 720 display, making for 294ppi.

Ahead of its big product launch event next week on October 6, the Microsoft Store accidentally posted details for the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, two Windows 10-powered smartphones that haven’t been announced yet.

Based on the render video, the Lumia 950 camera seems to be the focus of the handset: a dedicated shutter button can be seen next to the volume rocker and power button and a significantly large camera hump is on the back of the device.

Are you planning to purchase a Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL?

Microsoft is gearing up to unveil a range of Windows 10 devices on October. 6, and we’ll be there to watch the action in person.

The Lumia 950 and 950 XL are much more high-end than the Lumia 550. Both the new Windows smartphone will offer 32 GB of on-board storage, which will be expandable further up to a huge 2TB via a microSD card slot. The Lumia 950 will come with a screen measuring 5.2-inches while the Lumia 950 XL will have a 5.7-inch screen display. From the looks of it, the new Lumias are two pretty powerful Windows 10 devices that will be sold unlocked. Google already reported that pre-orders for its Nexus phones have been more than the company has ever seen.

As you can guess from the name, Lumia 950 XL ships with nearly same specifications as its little brother – Lumia 950. Other than the same camera and memory storage, these handsets will also run on the latest Windows mobile operating system, Windows 10.

According to Myerson, one reason to leave certain things enabled is to help improve device drivers, which act as the communication layer between Windows and the physical components of your computer, tablet, or phone. It will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that will be enabled with features like wireless charging and fast charging.
