The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes’ Online Multiplayer Is Region Locked
Less than a month before “The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes” launches for the handheld, Nintendo has bared more details about the upcoming 3DS title.

They also indicated that the competitive element of the game was not highlighted, implying that rewards were collected for the team and each one would get their own to unveil at the end of each challenge.
Tri Force Heroes’ focus on fashion makes it unlike any Zelda game before it, and gives it a delightful lighthearted tone that comes across wonderfully in the new trailer. The game would seem to be a lot more rewarding with other players. It’s not a popular move considering this game thrives on mutliplayer features.
It is then that the point about the online region lock becomes an issue. Gamers who are not used to “emoji messages” may find it hard to compete in the game. For those looking forward to playing Tri Force Heroes with their friends overseas, however, there’s a few disappointing news: you’ll only be able to play the online co-op mode with players in the same region. However, they can still play with others within their region.
