Google updates Nexus line-up

The idea behind Chromecast Audio is to broadcast your music, follow your favourite podcasts or listen to the radio from a computer, a smartphone or a tablet through any speaker or HiFi stereo system. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s snapdragon 808 processor delivering smooth performance.

The Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch 423ppi Full HD IPS display that has advanced In-Cell Touch technology, which enables faster recognition, better outdoor visibility, and crisper images, according to LG.

Huawei’s Nexus 6P comes in three options – 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.

Android users everywhere because ecstatic as news about Android 6.0 Marshmallow’s upcoming launch made the headlines with a few interesting details. In the meanwhile, Nexus 5X comes with a price tag of $379 and $429 for 16GB model and 32Gb model respectively. It charges on USB Type-C and has a 10- hour battery life. Strangely, Google has offered the same 12.3MP snapper on both Nexus phones which could work in favour of the Nexus 5X, not so much for the pricier Nexus 6P.

Android Marshmallow is all set to debut next week on Google’s Nexus smartphones, and is soon expected to roll out to other Android smatphones too.

Google has also previewed the Pixel C, which seems to be the replacement for its Nexus line of tablets.

Talking about the features, marshmallow brings four new features such as Direct Share, Now on Tap, Simpler volume control and Doze mode.

Most of the list doesn’t come as a shock as there had already been rumours about these devices getting the new OS revamp.

Moving along, another pressing question many tech aficionados are looking to get answered is when their non-Nexus devices will get the update. By the end of this year, Google’s Chromebooks will also achieve a new level of adoption, with more of those devices being used in US schools than any other devices combined. The phone also incorporates a black bar that contains various sensors and the rear camera.

With fingerprint scanners becoming a must have on smartphones especially flagship versions, Google has finally included support for it with Android 6.0.
