LG today launched Urbane 2 Watch with 4G LTE connectivity

Alongside its nifty dual-display V10 phone, LG showed off its upcoming Watch Urbane 2nd Edition in Seoul.

LG Watch Urbane 2 specifications and features: It flaunts a 1.38-inch circular display with a resolution of 480×480 pixels, translating into a pixel density of 348ppi.

The watch has 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

The first Android Wear smartwatch that comes with cellular connectivity, feature 4G LTE connectivity. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, compass, PPG, GPS, gyro and a barometer. Needless to say, the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition seems promising, but we’re itching to know its pricing. Hence, one should think long and hard before selecting one of the available color-based editions of Signature Brown, Space Black, Opal Blue, and Luxe White. Their positioning means they’ll allow you to capture standard 80 degree selfies or wide angle selfies – if that’s your thing.

We are going to see a few new band options available for the Watch Urbane Second Edition as well, letting customers customise their experience.

A previous Urbane watch also featured similar connectivity but ran a different operating system.

LG wowed plenty of folks with the original LG Watch Urbane as it was and still is one of the best looking smartwatches money can buy.

Three buttons on the round metal body and the side of the wearable device enable people to intuitively search for contacts, select apps, and LG health apps.

LG has pre-installed 16 watch faces and fitness-related features such as heart rate tracking, workout tips; stress level monitoring comes preloaded on the smarwatch. This new Android Wear uses a IP67 certified stainless steel make with measurements of 44.5 mm wideness and 14.2 thickness.

The company in a press statement announced that the LG V10 was subjected to a drop test from a height of 48-inches and was declared to be “MIL-STD-810G Transit Drop Compliant” for shock by an independent testing and certification firm MET Laboratories.
