Aside from having the critically acclaimed game, the enhanced edition will also come with a number of new features that weren’t in the original version.

What made “Divinity: Original Sin” a game of the year candidate for many people was the amount of freedom players had in the title. The Enhanced Edition is coming to PS4 and Xbox One as well as PC, where it will be free to owners of the original game.

If you’re on PC and own a copy of Original Sin, you’ll be able to download the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost.

The changes are so severe, however, that it will exist as a separate game with beefier PC specifications and no cross-save compatibility. Divinity: Original Sin was always designed as a game with dual protagonists that could be played either solo with an AI or with a friend online, but the Enhanced Edition really highlights that split game mode.
