Six billionaires from Massachusetts made the Forbes 400 list
According to the Daily Mail, the Forbes list of the 400 wealthiest Americans have a combined wealth of a staggering $2.3trillion.

Women billionaires: There are 51 female billionaires, or 13 percent of the list.
Spiegel and Murphy are among 25 newcomers to the list.
Another new arrival in the top 10 is Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon.
GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons is 327 on the list with a net worth of $2.1 billion. Murphy, who lives in Venice, Calif., is number 375 with $1.8 billion.
The mobile messaging app they co-founded, SnapChat, has been valued at $16 billion by investors.
Besides the well-known super-rich of Silicon Valley like Google’s Larry Page and Sergey Brin (with $33.3 billion and $32.6 billion, respectively) and Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the social media web site Facebook, the seventh wealthiest man in America with $40.3 billion in total assets, there are numerous other newly minted Internet billionaires, including the owners and co-owners of Uber, Airbnb, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Twitter, SnapChat, GoPro and GoDaddy.com. Bill Gates at $76billion, No 2.
Despite leaving his post as CEO of the software company Oracle Corp a year ago, Larry Ellison has retained his No 3 spot on the Forbes list, with a $47.5billion net worth.
Notably missing from last year’s list is Alan Auerbach, chief executive of Los Angeles biopharmaceutical company Puma Biotechnology. However, his net worth is down by nearly seven per cent to a slightly more modest $76bn (£53bn).
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is still the richest American with a net worth of $76 billion. It was the highest ever at $1.7 billion, up from $1.55 billion in 2014. Many members of the Walton family, with their wealth tied to the value of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. stock, saw their wealth decline and their rankings drop as the shares lost value compared to previous year. He checked at No. 59 on the list and has a worth of $7.4 billion.

Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys and a member of the 1964 national championship football team for the Arkansas Razorbacks, ranked No. 94 with $5 billion, up from No. 117 previous year.
