Stephen A. Smith Responds To Kevin Durant Accusations On ‘First Take’: ‘Kevin
On Monday’s edition of “First Take“, Smith responded. But I will say this lastly, you don’t want to make an enemy out of me. I have interviewed Kevin Durant. “I’m not lying.” If you want to get inot a semantic distinction between the meaning “lying” and “telling the truth”, the literal meanings of the words may vindicate him.

The ethics of Smith’s final statement are sketchy because it suggests he wouldn’t report fairly on Durant because of a personal grudge.
One more thing we’re concerned about now is how Kevin Durant will react to this. Nobody in my family, friends, they don’t talk to Stephen A. Smith. I have talked to him on several occasions literally within the past year where we’ve run across one another at an arena. Smith didn’t cite any sources close to Durant, and K.D. And I’ll say it again. “And I am looking right to the camera. I’m not having it. I’ve done nothing wrong and I’m not gonna tolerate it”.
Smith probably thought he sounded like a cool, intimidating villain in a Scorsese flick, when in reality his monologue mirrored one of a henchman who gets his ass kicked by Jason Statham 35 minutes into the movie.
After Durant said that Smith was a liar in regards to a report that he made saying Durant was considering going to the Los Angeles Lakers, Smith chose to unload his best “The Rock” impression on national TV. And he’s managed to make himself a few sort of victim in the process, even while ostensibly threatening the person who dared question his credibility.

“I follow a couple of Instagram accounts, cool Instagram accounts that show a lot of Instagram fans, ESPN of course”, he said. But everyone else can.
