We can’t believe we’re getting really close to saying goodbye to The Hunger Games.

With that, Lionsgate has released the last trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, the final installment in the Hunger Games franchise. That’s why Panem has basically turned into the 76th Hunger Games.
The action-packed clip sees Jennifer Lawrence assume full command of her role as a revolutionary who has gone past defiance and is openly attacking the Capitol. Having predicted that this day would come, President Snow has prepared his city for the incoming hordes, laying traps and defenses in every conceivable place (and a few unconceivable places).
“Turn your weapons”, declares symbolic mockingjay Katniss Everdeen, her voice shaking with anger and pain in the monologue that narrates the trailer.
The group leaves District 13 to liberate the citizens of war-torn Panem and to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow – who is obsessed with destroying Katniss. “Turn your weapons to Snow”.
Other snapshots include the movie’s eminent cast, including Donald Sutherland, Gwendolyn Christie, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Based on the novel by Suzanne Clarke, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig.
