Lumia 950XL is the larger one that is equipped with a 5.7 inch, 2560×1440 resolution OLED display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

“We are moving from a strategy to grow a standalone phone business to a strategy to grow and create a vibrant Windows ecosystem that includes our first-party device family”, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in an email to employees announcing the job cuts.

Today is Microsoft’s turn to unveil new hardware devices for the crucial fall sales season. They have more success with mobile apps than with mobile hardware in the moment. Not much is known about the 550, but a leak has revealed a 5-inch HD screen, 1 GHz Qualcoom Snapdragon processor, 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2 Megapixel front camera, according to a separate article from PC Advisor. Although it is not believed that Microsoft’s Band 2.0 would run on Windows 10 OS it is expected to be a part of Windows 10 family of products.

The Verge will be live from Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 and Lumia devices event tomorrow morning at 10AM ET. Panay said Surface Pro 4 is faster by 30% than its predecessor and 50 per cent than a Macbook Air. And Microsoft has included liquid cooling tech with its new phones, as well. From what we know so far, the Surface Pro 4 will be identical to the Surface Pro 3 from a looks and build point of view. If you do not have one of the games consoles, then you can also watch live coverage directly on the Microsoft website.

The coming new BYOL option will allow users to bring their existing Windows Server licenses to Azure like they can already with SQL Server and SharePoint under the existing Software Assurance License Mobility benefit.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is tipped to have an nearly bezel-less display, similar to the stunning Infinity Display on the Dell XPS 13.
