Victor Moses To Miss Super Eagles Friendlies

Worldwide passports of a few Super Eagles players and officials are still at the Belgian embassy, less than 48 hours before a high -profile global friendly against the Demnocratic Republic of Congo, which has been approved by world body, FIFA.

The Belgium camp of the Super Eagles comes alive as players have started trooping in for the friendlies against the African opponents in Belgium.

Nigeria captain Vincent Enyeama who buried his late mother Lucy on Saturday in his hometown of Urua Inyang, Akwa Ibom State arrived camp on Tuesday afternoon and took part in the team’s evening training session at the Battice FC training ground.

Moses informed the NFF of his decision to pull out through Super Eagles’ Administrator, Enebi Achor, saying it was a precautionary move to prevent injury.

West Ham’s on-loan Chelsea forward Victor Moses and Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo have already withdraw from Oliseh’s squad due to injury.

The new Eagles will play their first game on October 8 against Congo in Vise and then slug it out with the indomitable lions of Cameroon in Dendermonde-Belgium, three days later.
