Cate Blanchett hates selfies, social media
“[People] would be horrified if they could see my underwear drawer”.

“And then he said ‘I’m hungry do you want to go get something to eat?'” she laughed.
Without the matriarch’s guidance, Cate would probably be in a bad way with her epidermis. “I promise in to God, the ultimate basis I make occupations and get pictorials are so I am able to obtain more underpants”, this lady sniggered in to PeopleStyle. ‘Like me! Like me!’ The like and the dislike is just totally primary schoolyard. But I’m not out there saying, “Do they like the way I look?’…”
Cate Blanchett spilled the dirt on her 18-year marriage with husband Andrew Upton, including their approximately 21-day courtship, during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres Tuesday.
“I hope the conversations I have with her are no different than the conversations I have with my sons”, she said. She was talking to me about skin cancer. He ate it and then he asked me to marry him.
“People are constantly taking pictures of ourselves to send them to people to see if they like me, ‘Do they like me?’ said the stunning 46-year-old, who has put her her vanity aside for roles such as Blue Jasmine’s Jasmine, where she went completely make-up free”.

These days, Blanchett continues to stay out of the sun, but combats all her other skin stressors (jet lag, film makeup) with SK-II products; the Mid-Day Essence, of course, which she was “decanting myself into a bottle” until they finally created the product; the eye cream; and the treatment oil, which she uses to take off even stubborn stage makeup. She stated: ‘I got a pillowcase & told him it was a ghost still he really seemed like he was within the Ku Klux Klan. And since we’re not going to top that, we ask for one final piece of advice from the surprisingly down-to-earth star. Perhaps the red-carpet reporter asked what she wore to feel beautiful-“perhaps a few expensive lingerie?” Or maybe this mysterious underwear musing was part of an elaborate spell Blanchett is casting on all of us.
