Wesh.com reports that a 16-year-boy in Orange County doused himself with flammable liquid Monday night in a game of “dare” with other teens.

Flames quickly covered his clothes and caused his “skin to fall off”, his aunt Lisa Oliphant said.

Ms Oliphant told the Orlando Sentinel: “My nephew was hollering, ‘I’m on fire! His neck…swelled up so bad”.

Oliphant called 911 and doused her nephew with water before an ambulance arrived at the scene.

News 6 After the incident.

Authorities say the friend followed the directions, and the victim received second-degree burns on his arms and back. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

In the challenge, kids douse themselves in something flammable and then set themselves on fire, and that’s what happened to 15-year-old Robert Seals. The teen is at Arnold Palmer Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators are exploring the possibility of culpable-negligence charges against the other two children involved in the incident.

Esther Ruiz, who lives four doors down from where the incident occurred, said she could hear and smell Seals.
