Although Mario Kart 8 is pre-installed and Splatoon is just a download code, thereby using up most of the Wii U’s storage before you’ve even started.
Mario Kart 8 was the Wii U’s fastest-selling title to date at the time of its release, and spurred sales of the console by an impressive 666 per cent. As per European pricing rules, no MSRP was given for the console.
Meanwhile, Splatoon has found success in the eSports sector, inspiring a $1 million tournament dedicated exclusively to the game.
