At its Windows 10 devices event today, Microsoft has officially announced that the new operating system is running on over 110 million devices.

Terry Myerson, chief of the Windows division at Microsoft, revealed that in the next few weeks, company partners would also present new devices running Windows 10 and the software giant will participate at all launches because it wants to support the entire ecosystem that’s based on its products.

On top of that, users have asked 1 billion questions to Windows 10’s new Siri-like digital assistant, Cortana, while users have visited the Windows 10 app store 1 billion times.
Sadly for Microsoft, new figures show that Edge is failing to make inroads into Google’s and Mozilla’s market shares. Moreover, all devices may not be able to access all Windows 10 features. We already saw a few reports announcing Windows 10 reaching the 100 million installs milestone, but Microsoft never announced it officially, until today. That should please Windows Phone users who have been stuck using the janky Microsoft-made Facebook app for all these years.
