Tom Hanks Breaks Silence on Son Chet’s Drug Addiction
It is fair to say that Steven Spielberg is one of the biggest and best directors in Hollywood, while Tom Hanks is one of the most successful actor in the business.

As we previously reported, Tom Hanks’ son, Chet, revealed he’s now in rehab for his past drug abuse, opening up about on Instagram.
He additionally identifies with Entertainment Tonight about his child, a yearning rapper who performs under the name Chet Haze. For Tom (59) he couldn’t be prouder of his boy for facing his demons.
“As a parent, you love your kids unconditionally”, said Tom.
Chet is Tom and Rita’s eldest son and they are also parents to son Truman.
Chet said that he’s “doing pretty damn good” amid a period of intense self-evaluation, declaring that “the solution is Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and the surrendering of your will and your life over to a Higher Power of your own understanding”.
He says: ‘I know my name has been in the media, about me going missing, getting kidnapped or something I’ve been in a rehab, right?
So, what is his Oscar-winning dad thinking about it all??
“A couple months ago I was selling coke [and] doing coke until I couldn’t even snort it up my nose anymore because it was so clogged”.

Another short shows him saying: ‘All that stupid s**** I was doing, that’s not who I am. “There’s nothing glorious about bringing yourself closer to death and prison with each day of active addiction”.
