Paul Henson embraces son wanting to dress up as Elsa

Speaking about his decision to broadcast his son’s choice of Halloween costume, the father-of-one revealed that Caiden was bullied in school when he first said he wanted to dress up as Elsa.

Disney princesses might traditionally be a source of celebratory costume fare for the ~girls~, but one dad is helping to nix the stigma by giving his little boy the father-son “Frozen” princess pairing of his dreams.

“Anyone that knows us knows we generally let Caiden make his own choices, to an extent”, Henson wrote to caption the pic, which has been shared more than 12,000 times (and counting).

Frozen may have come out back in 2013, but we’re guessing we’re still going to see PLENTY of Elsas and Annas running around this Halloween!

“I want other parents to realize that gender stereotypes are taught and learned behaviors”, Ramage added to HuffPost.

Henson continued that he’d much rather have his son dress as a well-respected, heroic princess than an offensive or inappropriate character.

Now all they need to do is find themselves an Olaf and they’ll be all set! Paul explains to the Huffington Post. When little girls want to be superheroes, it’s cute. At three years old, kids are still developing, exploring and discovering.

“Paul, I’m so proud of you for being a parent and standing by your child no matter what”.
