A settlement was reached in the divorce trial of billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin on Wednesday.

Ken Griffin is founder and CEO of the multi-billion Citadel hedge fund in Chicago, Illinois. Griffin filed for divorce in 2014, citing “irreconcilable” differences, a move she said was made to catch her off guard while on vacation.
Frank cited unidentified people familiar with the transactions, and Griffin declined to comment to the New York Times. They had been due to go to trial this week but instead the couple entered settlement talks.
Griffin also set a record in New York, where he snapped up three entire floors of the under-construction 220 Central Park South condo tower in Midtown for $200 million, a record real estate purchase for the city.
The NYT says that Mr. Griffin already owns properties in Aspen, Colorado and Hawaii, but gave no indication as to the motive behind his latest spending spree.
And he just bought the Faena House penthouse in Miami for a cool $60 million.
In addition to money, the two are also fighting over the custody of their three young children.
Earlier this year, he paid another $15.2 million for 70 Blossom Way. Mrs. Griffin had sought $1 million in monthly expenses, including $300,000 for the use of a private jet, $160,000 for hotels and $2,000 in stationary costs.
