Rupert Murdoch suggests Obama isn’t ‘real black president’

Firstly, why do every damn one of Rupert Murdoch’s tweets have huge erroneous spaces in them?

So much so that in a series of glowing tweets he sent out earlier today, Murdoch said that Carson would be “a real black President” in contrast to Barack Obama, which may be slightly confusing for anyone who has seen or heard of Barack Obama.

Murdoch’s tweet was championing Ben Carson, a Republican who is the only African-American candidate in the presidential race.

Murdoch’s use of the word “real” flabbergasted many online onlookers, a few of whom concluded that the media mogul was questioning Obama’s race and identity.

“Rupert Murdoch, brah, if ur concerned about bridging the racial divide, how ’bout pulling the plug on that new-fangled Klan rally, Fox News?” asked actor Jeffrey Wright.

Murdoch has been active on Twitter with commentary about the 2016 election, and Carson seems to have the Australian native’s support.

He followed up with a reference to a New York magazine story that asks whether Obama did enough to as president for the black community. I would say, ‘Hey, guys, everybody attack him.

“I want to plant in people’s minds what to do in a situation like this because unfortunately this is probably not going to be the last time this happens”, Carson said on “CBS This Morning“.

Murdoch is an unusual user of Twitter, occasionally dashing off his thoughts about politics and world affairs without ever quite mastering the medium.
