Pueblo Community Wants Maze Runner Cast to Apologize for Stealing Artifacts

The cast of the dystopian Maze Runner films – the second instalment of which, The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials, was released last month – have been asked to apologise to angry fans, after the franchise’s 24-year-old star Dylan O’Brien admitted to stealing from a Native American burial ground.

As The interview of maze runner cast revelead here that there is nothing wrong in being pirated of the movie because it is just natural that if you are releasing a movie it is just that it will get leaked somehow through torrent or other websites where torrent is not accessible.

“They gave us this big speech when we got there to shoot and they said basically don’t take anything and respect the grounds. O’Brien, the film’s director, and other crew members involved need to apologize to Pueblo tribal leaders for their behavior and return any artifacts they removed from the site”. He told us he wasn’t sure what, if anything, O’Brien and his co-stars really did take – but said, “If the artifacts are not returned, we will be contacting our attorney”.

Leave things where you find them, kids!

Kelly Ripa gasps and says: ‘Did the Brady Bunch teach you nothing?’ in reference to an episode when the characters are cursed by an ancient artifact. “While O’Brien plays it for laughs, talking about bringing a Native American curse on the cast, his flip treatment of the crew’s actions is outrageous”, she writes in the overview.

“It would make a good statement about how to treat other people, including Native Americans, and stress that someone’s culture isn’t a joke”, 19-year-old petitioner, Maeve Cunningham, told Santa Fe New Mexican.

As a result of these efforts, a full-blown investigation has begun.

Diamond Tail Ranch manager Roch Hart told The Associated Press that following the comments, 20th Century Fox is investigating claims the cast took artefacts and will seek to return any stolen items.
