HP’s new Windows 10 all-in-one has a 34-inch curved display

It’s just called the Envy All-in-One PC, and it includes 24-inch and 27-inch display options, neither of which are curved. It is based around a 34-inch curved screen propped up elegantly with a pair of metallic feet.

HP is introducing a number of new PCs today, but easily the most impressive on a physical level, at least is the Envy Curved All-in-One PC: a Windows 10 machine built into a curved and extremely wide 34-inch display. All of these new and updated PCs feature Windows 10, an integrated Windows Hello camera, and B&O audio systems.

The HP Envy 32 Media Display is targeted for multimedia and gaming experiences.

If you would like a smooth gaming experience, however do not want to shell out for esoteric case supplies and lavish lighting effects, HP’s 15.6-inch Pavilion Gaming laptop brings affordability to it gaming lineup with out skimping on performance, due to Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M graphics. With up to 16GB of system memory and up to 2TB of hard drive space, this is a machine of considerable capabilities – and it will retail for $900 on November 8.

The HP Envy 8 Note will be released on November 8, priced at $329 (£215) for the tablet alone or $429 (£281) with the keyboard dock.

HP’s traditional clamshell 13.3-inch Windows 10 notebook, the HP ENVY Notebook, is said to be its thinnest yet.

The new Envy notebook is thinner than ever, at 13mm, weighing 2.8lbs with a ten-hour battery. Users benefit from a backlit keyboard. Prices will start at $850 when the device goes on sale on October 18.

New versions of the colourful and cheap HP Stream 11- and 13-inch notebook PCs have been announced. To keep it thin, the main connections are USB-C ports, and HP says the U-shaped kickstand allows for more battery to fit inside for longer life. The Pavilion Gaming laptop starts at $899.99 and arrives November 8.

HP is also intruding a far less flashy all-in-one with the same design cues. This updated 2-in-1 with “killer metal detachable keyboard”, is only 8mm thick and weighs under 900g.

Three cameras on a single device? We don’t know its exact specifications, but it’s safe to assume the Envy Curved All-in-One PC will use the same or similar screen as HP’s Envy 34c monitor.

All told, then, while the keyboard and free Office install are nice to have, the Note 8 is still a tablet-first sort of device, which means you’d better be happy with the selection of touch-friendly apps in the Windows Store instead of expecting to rely just on desktop programs. The device packs a 1.84 GHz Intel Atom CPU, a 1080p HD display, and built-in high-speed Verizon 4G LTE.
