Police have increased their presence in a Kitchener, Ont., neighbourhood as they continue to search for clues following the death of a 60-year-old man who was found with an arrow in his chest outside a home.

Wednesday morning, motorists on Margaret were handed cards with contact information for police and asked if they had seen anything that could be connected to Gibbon’s death.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics where he died.
Police are treating Gibbon’s death as a homicide and said his injuries were not self-inflicted.
“These types of incidents bring trepidation and uncertainty”, Waterloo Regional Police Chief Bryan Larkin said in the news release.
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service General Detectives and Homicide Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred in the area of Margaret Avenue and Union Street, in Kitchener at approximately 7 a.m. this morning.
“Although I believe this is a safe neighbourhood, I am anxious that the things that we like to do at ordinary times of day are going to be changed”, said Barrett.
They added that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident and there no suspects. Any suspicious activity should be reported to police.
Staff Sgt. Mike Haffner says officers are talking to residents in the area around the crime scene for information that may relate to the case. “They are following up those leads as we speak and are hoping to put a few conclusion to this investigation”. “We do have a number of significant community events as we celebrate Oktoberfest this weekend, we have a policing plan in place for them”.
