Kentucky university closed for rest of week due to graffiti death threat
With that in mind, Eastern Kentucky has announced it has moved its Thursday night home game with Tennessee Tech from its Richmond, Ky., campus to that of Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ky.

Colleges and universities in the Philadelphia area spent Monday on alert after an Federal Bureau of Investigation warning that a threat had been made on the social media site 4chan about violence on a campus that day. University spokeswoman Kristi Middleton declined to comment, citing the ongoing police investigation.
The campus threats surfaced in recent days.
EKU closed all its campuses on Wednesday after a threatening message was found inside a campus bathroom on Monday. The message said, “KILL ALL BY 10/8/15 THIS BU OOP”.
Two universities canceled classes Wednesday because of threats, less than a week after a mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg.
University President Michael Benson said Wednesday that the goal was to limit safety risks while assessing the threats.

The disruption at EKU comes during midterm exams. Classes will resume on October 14, after EKU’s fall break.
“Immediately I thought I need to go home right now I don’t want to be here anymore”, said Emily Rose, another EKU student.
“My friends and I are going to go to the store later and get supplies to cook in the dorms so we only have to leave when it’s super necessary”, said Ashley Powers, one of the students planning to stay.
Mike Mitchell made the hourlong drive from Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to pick up his daughter, Irisbel, a freshman at EKU.
“It does seem to be a scary time in our nation”, Wilson said.
UPDATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON: Early Tuesday morning rumors were circulated around campus of threatening notes being left under the doors of rooms in Telford Hall. The game is set for 1 p.m. Thursday.
EKU police have not been able to substantiate a specific threat, but are interviewing individuals identified through community tips.
The EKU Police Department, in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, continues to actively investigate this incident and provide increased patrols.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
